Rasheedah Hasan’s current role is VP, Chief of Staff to CHRO after serving as Exec Director of Program Management, Advertising and Core Platforms at The New York Times. Prior to joining The New York Times, she served as Director of Release Management and Program Management at Viacom for convergence platforms covering the Ads, Video and User Platform global programs. Her transition into the media and entertainment industry was preceded by 15+ years in management and individual contributor roles driving process and technology delivery for large and complex initiatives primarily in the Banking Industry. The consistent theme connecting each transition period has been the opportunity to join organizations that seek operational excellence and strives to employ leaders with deep practical knowledge and sincere appreciation for people development, creativity, change management and fun.
Rasheedah is passionate about creating organizational conditions that promote and appreciate collaboration, respect, diversity, introspection and intentional direction. She has a Masters in Psychology where her research focused solely on Improving Leadership Behavior for Stronger Workforce Strategy as a means to continue to derive individual, team, and organizational development solutions based primarily on scientific-based studies.
