Mindful Youth

Through mindfulness meditation and laughter yoga, children increase their ability to focus and develop the mental and emotional competencies to handle life’s challenges for the joyful, prosperous life they deserve.

Mindful Teachers

Mindfulness Meditation supports effective classroom management which requires awareness, patience, good timing, boundaries, and instinct. There’s nothing easy about shepherding a large group of easily distractible students with different skills and temperaments along a meaningful learning journey.

Mindful Parents

Experience presence. Learn the basics of proper breathing and relaxation that lead you to a deeper connection to your child. Children need us to teach kindness, courage and how to follow their passion with success.

CMS

Sponsored by former Carolina Panther linebacker Na’il Diggs, Ranjit worked with students at Coulwood Middle School and Randolph IB World School to teach them the basics of mindfulness meditation.

  • We hope the program will teach students how to deal with their anger, fears and stress in a positive way. The students will learn a new set of skills they can use the rest of their lives.

Deb Kaclik· health and physical education specialist for CMS
  • It’s important to me, especially before and after games. After four hours of football, the adrenaline you feel is enormous. We get excited and anxious whether we win or lose. In order for me to go home to my family and my kids, I need to meditate to get in a better frame of mind.

    Na’il Diggs· former Carolina Panther
  • It was good. I was getting into it. It relaxes you, makes you feel better. If you’re having a bad day, it takes the stress off.

    Chris Latimer· seventh-grade student
