Susan McDonoughSusan McDonough has been at the forefront of the growth and transformation of the financial services industry during the last 25 years.

In key senior management roles at Bank of America and Wachovia/Wells Fargo she developed deep insights into the needs, challenges and behaviors of both middle market and commercial companies and the retail and small business customer. Her areas of expertise include strategic planning, leading large scale operations, driving customer acquisition and retention, customer experience and delight, risk management and coaching and mentoring.

Recently Susan was Executive Vice President and Head of Retail and Small Business Banking and Ecommerce for a regional start up financial institution.

Susan graduated with honors from Meredith College. She is Six Sigma Green Belt certified and a Master Gardener and completed course work toward a Certified Landscape Designer designation. Her passions include lifelong learning, travel and extending a hand up to those in need.

Helping non profits grow, transform and prosper is a particular passion for Susan who has volunteered as board member, committee member, strategic advisor, fundraiser and in many other capacities. Some of her recent work has been with Social Venture Partners (Seed 20 Coach), Crisis Assistance Ministry, Community Culinary School of Charlotte, Women’s Impact Fund, Dress for Success, SCORE- US Small Business Administration, Meredith College Fund and Meredith College Alumnae Association.
